Europe’s Energy Portal is the trading name of Energy.eu, a Netherlands based company that provides free and customized energy data related to the EU.
There is data and statistics available on the Energy.eu website, this data is publicly available under the terms and conditions of section 1.
Energy.eu offers customized energy data, surveys and statistics upon request on a commercial basis. Section 2 covers the terms and conditions for delivery of this data.
Terms and Conditions of Energy.eu Data Products
Section 1. Public energy data
1.1 The data published on Energy.eu is freely accessible to anyone and may be reproduced provided its source is mentioned. A correct description of the source reference is: source: Europe’s Energy Portal.
1.2 With respect to data contained on this website, Energy.eu, nor any of its employees or contractors make any representations or warranties, express, implied, or statutory, as to the validity, accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose; nor assume any liability resulting from the use of such data and shall in no way be liable for any costs, expenses, claims, or demands arising out of the use of such data.
Section 2. Commercial energy data
2.1 Energy.eu does not grant exclusive use rights with respect to this data.
2.2 The data is intended for the sole use of the customer or site-specific use by the customer's organization. The data may not be installed on any system with public Internet access, unless otherwise agreed with Energy.eu. The customer may not reproduce the data for distribution to any third party.
2.3 The customer will not assert any proprietary rights to any portion of the data, or attribute the data to any source other than Europe’s Energy Portal. A correct description of the source reference is: source: Europe’s Energy Portal.
2.4 Europe’s Energy Portal must be identified as the source of the data; and if any modification of the content of the files is made by the customer or customer's organization, a statement must be added to the file acknowledging that modifications were made, identifying customer or customer's organization as originator of the modifications, and including the date of the modifications and a general description of the modifications.
2.5 Customer shall pay 25% of the agreed upon fee upfront, before delivery of the data. Unless otherwise agreed upon by both parties.
2.6 Energy.eu shall deliver its data products either in Excel 2007 document format or in PDF format. The format shall be agreed upon by customer and Energy.eu.
2.7 With respect to data contained in this product, neither Energy.eu, nor any of its employees or contractors make any representations or warranties, express, implied, or statutory, as to the validity, accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose; nor assume any liability resulting from the use of such data and shall in no way be liable for any costs, expenses, claims, or demands arising out of the use of such data.
