For a thorough understanding and an in-depth view on retail prices for energy in European countries, there is a great tool available from Europe’s Energy Portal, called ‘EU Energy History’. This tool reveals exactly how much is paid for Natural Gas and Electricity by consumers from the member states of the European Union.
All price data is in Euro currency, making it convenient to compare prices between countries. The data format is Microsoft Excel®, by default. Alternative formats are optional.
